Used vouchers provided at check-in to the Hilton for this place. Food was... Decent. Nothing to write home about. Service was alright, if a bit stressed and understaffed. Was not happy about the hotel policy of not serving alcohol until noon; the lack of a Bloody Mary or Mimosa with my breakfast on a Sunday morning was not appreciated.

The bar and restaurant area are extremely small. The staff is either really great (Piluchi for example is a great bartender who is very attentive and really knows how to make her customers feel welcome) or appear completely disinterested. The food is actually good, drinks are good and everything is fresh. The breakfast was nice, morning staff friendly and cleared tables/got checks out fairly quickly. It appears the layout causes a little bit of the hectic atmosphere but they do also have a nice small outside patio. If you want a great drink make sure you saddle up to the bar when Piluchi is serving !

We ate here at least ten times while in San Jose for a convention. Delicious breakfasts with perfectly cooked bacon, fluffy pancakes, crisp waffles, and so on. Lots of really good local fresh berries on everything. We LOVED their quesadillas and tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp. All were wonderful and HUGE, and served with outstanding house-made guacamole. The best part was the service. DELIGHTFUL, friendly, hardworking servers that went out of their way to make out-of-towners feel welcome and well taken care of. This was a very unusual experience considering that this is a lobby restaurant in a convention center hotel. Highly recommended.

Liked the convenience. Did not like the open room seating arrangement, as it lacked privacy. Also did not like the door to the outside that allowed the colder outside air to blow on the patrons seated inside near that door.
