We were only in San Jose for a couple of days on a business trip, but we HAD to go see the giant Monopoly board. As we came around the corner and got a glimpse of it, it seemed huge, but when we walked up to it, I was a little disappointed. It seemed less than giant. However, upon walking on the board, it is quite large. It is at the far corner of a park containing the Children's Museum and a beautiful creek with lots of little sculptures and bridges along it. The neighborhood seemed a little seedy, and kind of industrial on one side, so I would definitely not be interested in going alone or after dark.
Walking around on the Monopoly board was really fun, as a tourist attraction but after about 10 minutes we were ready to go.
