Description: Firehouse No. 1 Bar & Grill is a outstanding San Jose destination when you're looking for great food, delicious drinks, and friendly people. Gastro pub quality fare made from scratch in addition to impressive daily specials. A vast and well stocked bar that includes hand crafted cocktails in addition to draft and bottle beers, and select wines. Be sure to participate in the occasional whole bar sing-alongs, or cheer the bartenders on as they prepare exotic flaming drinks and smash bottles behind the bar. Lots of LCD screens when there is a sporting event or Sharks game - or just digital flames all around late at night. Open from 11AM until 2AM weekdays with happy hour from 3pm to 7pm. On weekends, open from 4PM until 2AM. We have full table service both inside and on the patio. Patio heaters when its cold.

A better option for outside seating and people watching than most of St Pedro joints, this is a normal restaurant with decent service and good food. The steak was excellent, and even the beet salad was perfectly made. Wine choices are limited to some low end selections, one would think they could get decent wines in the Bay Area to go with the steaks served.

located on san pedro street, this restaurant provided indoor and outdoor seating. we choose the outdoor seating and we were approached a few times by the homeless. With that being said, we had a great time. The weather was great so sitting outside was delightful The lemon vinaigrette on the spring veggie salad was excellent.

This gastro pub is a must visit for lunch or dinner in San Jose! It's a small bar on San Pedro Street within walking distance to the HP Pavillion and just a couple exits away from the airport. They have amazing food, craft cocktails, and craft beer. For lunch, get a hand formed burger or the goat cheese wedge. For dinner, share the 24 oz bone in ribeye with your date, or snack on an array of appetizers. My favorites are the bone marrow canoes served with crostinis, pork belly sliders, bacon mac & cheese, and chipotle wings.

This place gets pretty busy before sharks games so get here early for a seat. When it's nice out, the patio is a great place to sit and people watch.

Usually wine all the way, but tried a beer, have no chance of repeating its name - I had to think of a wise stephanie! But it was really good, I would definitely drink it again, and ordered the chicken over root veggies. Again, never usually order chicken out as usually dry, but this was tender and very juicy and the veggies tasty. Others had the burger which they raved about and one had mac n chess with bacon and was not disappointed.

Went with a few work folks to Firehouse 1, and had a great experience. We tried most of the small plates, and ordered extra on a few as well. The burger is also great, tons of flavor and extra napkins needed! Easy walking distance from the downtown hotels.

Will go again next time I'm in town.
