“Egyptian Museum”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Very well laid out, great variety of artifacts, museum employees friendly and knowlegable. A nice venue, and the grounds are
beautiful. Had a nice walk looking at all the beatiful plants,
and shrubs and fountain.

“Truly unique experience”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

The museum will keep you busy wondering how they collected so many Egyptian artifacts. There are many mummies and other ancient displays that one reads about but may not find elsewhere. The layout is well designed and exhibits are well displayed. Very interesting for all ages!

“Really not worth your money”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

If you want to visit, I recommend checking out the gardens (free) and looking at the buildings from outside. The museum itself is not worth the admission fees they charge. The inside is really creepy, and not because of the mummies and tomb replica. There are no windows, so it is really stuffy and dark. The museum is run by a cult of rich wackadoodles who claim that their "order" was founded by one of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, and the museum's "visitor's center" has a video about them.

They have a decent collection of artifacts, but they are presented horribly. The labels have typos. All of the display cases and the artifacts inside are dirty. You can see a layer of dust on everything, and there are dead bugs in several of the cases too. I even saw a live worm-type bug crawling around inside the display case with one of the mummies. The whole building is really old and probably infested with bugs because they don't clean it. I love museums, but I will not come here again.

“Very cool, but needs some TLC”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

I understand they lost some of their funding, which is a shame because it appears a little run down. At one point, it was breathtaking, though it still has some really wonderful charm and unique features. Certainly worth checking out with the family. Lots of bridal shoots here as well.
