I never really knew what it meant to be a Rosicrucian. After the museum tour, I left full of new information and an eagerness to learn more.

An interesting look into the artifacts that were attained and recreated from the Egyption region during the time of the Pharoahs.

I absolutely loved this Museum. I've seen a few different exhibits in a few different places that come nowhere close to this one. The museum is easy to get to and there is free parking on site. I went during the winter so the gardens were not in full bloom but there was a beautiful fountain in the middle of the courtyard. There are three floors to the museum. Each floor contains different types of artifacts. The have a recreation of a tomb that is really cool and an almost unwrapped mummy! The museum is also family friendly and the staff were extremely nice. Well worth a trip.

I went here with my family recently and didn't remember it being such a treasure. There are a lot of artifacts of Ancient Egypt. I had been here 20 or so years ago, but it was good to come back and see it again, after all the Discovery channel programs I've seen for perspective. If you have a spare afternoon and don't want to have to drive to the city or Monterey, check it out again.
