We had hoped for something a little more typical, but what we got was the merging of computers and fabrics. This was an exhibition that focused on cutting-edge design and techniques, but it just didn't work for us. It might work for you.

Quilt museum is a pretty rare gem! Culture dress, amazing quilts, mind boggling embroidery and needle craft.

There are some amazing quilts and textile artwork here which are definitely worth seeing, especially for people interested in such things. $8 entrance fee is too much, though, for such a small exhibition and there was not enough variation to keep the bored boyfriend from getting antsy. For something that you will walk through in max an hour, $8 is steep.

Off the beaten path, but shouldn't be. Check out some really intriguing designs.

We used my GPS to find this place & had issues with that but luckily we figured out where it was. Took my Gram, an avid quilter, to see it & we really lucked out because there happened to be an international exhibition going on that weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the exhibit & really enjoyed seeing the creativity of the different styles. I learned that quilting isn't all about your family heirloom bedspread!
