Rustic, challenging, full of wildlife. Lots of options for trails. Interesting history and old mercury mine sites. You can end up in the old town where the miners settled, New Almaden. Really enjoyed this trail.

This park is free. People take horses there. Thee water is real low due to drought. The river has Steal heads.

For summer time, I used to walk up there early in the morning so I won't feel too hot. A lots of tree and beautiful views for you to watch. Sometime if you lucky you can see deer walking around. Hoping you will enjoy yourself when you go there. Yes, you can run if you like too. I saw a lots people ran up there.

When the weather is cooler this is a great place to go for a hike. Some old mining equipment, cool views, and one old mine you can go partway into. Most of the trails mean huffing up some hills, but a few are fairly casual.
