A coworker of mine asked for a nice, low-key, and delicious meal after flying into SFO and Left Bank was the first thing that came to mind. Left Bank is always on my list of places to hit when I fly into town for many reasons, chiefly, the quality of meal, the experience, and the al fresco dining. Four people came together for a late dinner at about 9, ordered a bottle of Bordeaux, our meal, and closed the restaurant down.
We were *never* rushed, never asked to leave, and left about 15 minutes after closing as the last table. We left a great tip, and as always, confiscated the cork of the fine bottle of wine we enjoyed. I'll always be back, despite the hour long drive from SFO.
