Best for younger children. Grandson is 11 and was already too old for most exhibits/games. We all enjoyed the IMAX showing of building Canada's rail. Really great gift shop.....better than average cafe.....offered healthy choices.

The Tech Museum, located in downtown San Jose (with nearby parking!), has fascinating exhibits concerting all sorts of facets of technology - computers (of course), health, physics, music, food, etc.! It also has a wonderful gift store with all sorts of books, toys, unusual gifts - and they seem to be quite well priced - not all way expensive. Fun place for adults as well as children - exhibits for all ages.

This is almost a two fer. The museum is great with a lot of neat tech exhibits and even some environmentally responsible exhibits showing different things. There also is an IMAX in the museum showing movies. We came for the Hobbit and wouldn't do that again, but do like non action type movies on Imax.

This is our favorite of all of the technical museums in the Silicone Valley area. In addition to their regular interactive exhibits, they regularly have special ones. Our 12 year old grandson has gone twice this year, and it is nearly 400 miles from where we live. I love to learn, and this museum was extremely interesting to me, at age 67.
