This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. I thought, "It's in San Jose, how bad could it be?" The answer was: very bad. Every surface in the room was dirty. There were no blinds on most of the windows, and the the blinds that were there didn't block much light. The lampshades were broken, the carpet was stained, as soon as I walked in the bottom of my shoes became very sticky.
The rooms are actually very large. I reserved a "two-double bed" room, and it ended up being a small one-bedroom layout with the beds in two different rooms. It also has a kitchen, though everything was so dirty I didn't test the functionality of anything. I think that most of this place's business is from down on their luck locals who can't afford the huge security deposits needed to rent in the area.
The one positive was the wireless internet. It was free and the speed and reliability was better than most hotels.
A good hotel if you aren't bothered by filth. Otherwise, choose somewhere (anywhere) else.
