Worth a stop but be aware that you may be waiting for a while as they do not take reservations.
The restaurant is actually two spots; As you face the pier the right side is the "cold" side and the bar. You can get your drinks, oysters on the shell, shrimp cocktails, etc.
The left side is the main restaurant where you can get all the normal seafood fare.
They are serving up the Alaskan Salmon now in various forms. Salmon steaks, brochettes, filets, and some others I don't remember are special on the menu now. Each dish gets a salad or chowder along with one side along with some very good sourdough bread.
The food was very good...nothing exceptional but definitely good. Service was great.
The main draw of this place is the exceptional view. Surf was up and both sides of the pier had a number of surfers. Traditionally, the south side of the pier is for more inexperienced surfers such as kids. From what we saw there were some great surfers!
People watching, especially on the bar side, is great too!
