What was supposed to be a nice evening with family, turned into a frustrating ordeal.We were served charred over seasoned filets and informed our server Danielle about the issue with the food. She did ask if we wanted something else, but then quickly walked off before we could answer her. Not sure why she even asked if she wasn't interested in actually taking our replacement order. She then ignored us the remainder of the evening.
We have ordered the filets many times before and found them very good. I'm not sure what the issue was this night because the seasoning was overwhelming and the charred taste made the filet awful and not edible.
When the Manager, Justin stopped by to see how our meal was we explained several times to him about what happened when we advised our server about the food, but he kept ignoring what I was telling him and told us we should have brought it up sooner, which we did but he didn't want to hear it. He gave us one free dessert, but it doesn't make up for the fact that our issue was with our $31.00 filets, not a $9.00 dessert.
We contacted the corporate office hoping someone there would actually understand what occurred. The Administrative Assistant, Haley advised us that she had looked into this issue and thanked us for bringing it to their attention, but felt the dessert we were given was enough for our troubles. When I tried to pursue the issue further with her, Haley became rude and arrogant and stated "they can't please everyone", which was shocking that she was being so disrespectful about the situation.
Everyone at this place only cares that our server "asked" if we wanted another meal, but doesn't acknowledge she didn't allow us to actually order something else. Must be something they tell their servers to do, but make sure they don't actually order something else for the customer. Instead they would like to believe we "declined" to order something else.
I guess if something is wrong with your meal you are better off saying nothing because they just get mean and defensive otherwise. I tried once again to escalate the issue to someone that was supposed to be the owner/manager, but he never replied and then they ended up posting that we were trying to get them to compensate us for removing our Yelp review, which is a lie! We only asked for the two meals that were not accetable to be reimbursed and as a show of good faith we DID remove an earlier review. But they don't care and I hope this place tanks for treating people like this. It will catch up to them.
So irritated by this whole situation that I will never go back here again and will stop recommending them to friends, which is too bad because it used to be a favorite with us. I will be warning them NOT to go so they can be saved from having something like this happen to them as well.
