After lunch at The Fisherman's Restaurant, we walked the pier. There were people fishing (caught one while we were there), benches to sit on, and if your hungry, ice cream and snacks at the end. Great vistas of the coast.

This isn't a tourist trap like the Santa Monica Pier. This pier is very large, and has a beautiful view. I suggest heading over to Cassano's pizza for dinner where you can grab an inexpensive bite to eat while still being able to see the ocean from your table.

I Always love a stroll on the Pier! Top it off with a drink and an appetizer and the Fishermans and then maybe a long walk on the beach trail

I loved that is was not crowded, even though it was summer, it was really cool, and clean! It has just enough little shops to break the monotony, but not so many that it is overwhelming. The food was really good, and not as pricey as other piers in California. The people are friendly with families and young children.

Great place to stop for just a drink or stay for a meal any time of day! They have both a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. Both have really good food and libations!
