“OK price for Friday and Saturday but too high for Sunday”
Reviewed September 20, 2010

We stayed here for 3 nights and paid $89 for Friday and Sat. day and $149 for Sunday night. Excuse was that Oracle had a big confention and the hotels were all booked and the price higher. The receptionist gave us a 10% AAA discount later so that saved us at least some money for the 2 rooms we had. Room was OK and the train didn't bother us at all.

Dear Sir / madam

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Generally this areas rate is higher on Sunday through Thursday due to so many companies and basically a corporate based area. That's why the rates are higher on Sunday and cheaper on Friday and Saturday. Again I assure you that we have the best rate in town.

Thank You for Your Business

The title says it all. I have stayed at at large marriotts and hiltons but none of them compare to this gem by the bay. it was super easy for me to go to San Francisco and San Jose because of how convenient the location is. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very well trained. I also could not believe how many great options for food they gave at breakfast. Lunch and dinner and the occasional midnight snack were also very easy to get because there is a taco bell next and a Baja Fresh and McDonalds across the street. The train and street noise were not noticeable because the rooms of those sides have double-layered walls and windows. The area around the hotel was very nice looking, clean, and safe. I just can't say enough about how well trained the staff is and how polite they are.

Yes, we had a room facing the train tracks. Yes, it runs from about 5am to 11pm. But it didn't bother us. Perhaps for the very light sleeper, it's not the best hotel location. But for the average sleeper, this hotel is great - the beds are quite comfortable, too. Very nice breakfast, rooms and common areas clean and inviting, and a great value for the location. We were very pleased with our four-day weekend stay.

The service for this hotel was great and very clean rooms. The Atrium sitting was ever more relaxing, it felt like i was at a big Embassy Hotel. Keep up the great work and loved the breakfast.

I stayed here for two nights to attend a business meeting. We arrived around 9 p.m. and could tell it was a small place ... one guy seemed to run the whole place at that hour.

The room was clean and had ample amenities, including a fridge/freezer and microwave. Unfortunately, the fridge was not plugged in upon my arrival, so the burrito I threw in there was in bad shape the following afternoon.

There were additional electrical problems. The light over the bed didn't work. I called the front desk about it; the desk man came immediately to try to fix it, but was unable to do so. The nearby alarm clock reset to 12:00 twice during my stay. Good thing I used my mobile phone to wake me up each day!

The breakfast space was roomy and had a computer terminal and television. The food was rather lackluster, with all the condiments in packets. I must've broken open six packets my first day there.

In sum, it's fine enough for a mature crash pad, but don't expect to get pampered!

We booked this hotel for the first night of a two-night stay for my friend's wedding in Burlingame. The area in the hotel's immediate vicinity in San Carlos was not nice. It was a bit industrial and run-down. But the hotel was fairly clean, the room was large, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good. We loved making our own waffles! A very nice touch!

Room and facility were clean and well kept. Room was relatively large. Had a small refrigerator which served our purposes very well. We stayed four nights. Also had a microwave and cable TV. Bed (1 king) was well maintained. Plenty of complimentary parking (May, 2006).

Complimentary breakfast served buffet-style beginning at 6:00 am was diverse and excellent. Nearby restaurants were within a short driving distance. Also, McDonald's directly across the street.

Facility played recorded, classical music unobtrusively in the background in the evening in the covered, interior courtyard.

Located very conveniently to comfortable trains into San Francisco. Could get a train nearly every half hour, both directions.

Some street noise in our streetside room during afternoon and early evening. Closing the window minimized this.

Would return.
