“A bit of France in Sac Carlos”
Review of Cuisinett

Cuisinett
Ranked #3 of 139 Restaurants in San Carlos
Cuisines: French
Description: Cuisinett’ Story Back in 2008, Geoffroy Raby had a vision to bring a new style of French Restaurant. Forget about your typical stereotype about French Restaurant, Geoffroy wanted to bring back the neighborhood café that he grew up with. A place where you can enjoy great food (and wine) at reasonable prices and in a casual atmosphere. Fast forward to 2011 and Cuisinett was born. Our team ‘s goal is to make you discover France through its Regional Cuisine and bring you on a delicious journey of French Comfort Food. A bientot Geoffroy and the Cuisinett Team

I love it! An order at the counter place in San Carlos. The portions are a "just right" size. The food is fantastic. I love the Nicoise Salad with seared Ahi. There are some great steak sandwiches in town an the one at Cuisinett rivals them all. Get the fries with truffle oil. They also have homemade vegetarian soup everyday.

The place is small bustling like a french cafe with some outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and helpful and the owner makes you feel very much at home. This is a gem in a town that has a growing reputation for good food on the Peninsula.

Stop by and have some comfort food from France. Quiche, soups, and roti dishes are all delightful, and genuine. Love the flavors and the price.

Love the food, the ambiance and the people! Although the menu is not large, it has many of my favorite dishes, including mussels that are always perfectly prepared.

I LOVE that this restaurant is open the whole afternoon...most dining establishments in San Carlos close between 2 and 5. The food was wonderful...the flavors blended so nicely. We had a Special of the Day French Burger with Bleu Cheese served with a shallot confit on a bed of lettuce. Mmmm. It was clear there was attention to detail...the meat fresh, the confit flavorful but not overpowering, the bun browned. I chose salad instead of fries...which came with a nice house dressing. We also had the Duck Salad...so tasty and satisfying. I love a strong French roast coffee and I wasn't disappointed. They serve it with a small square of dark chocolate. Perfect! Casual dining: order at the counter.

It is a small little place that seems to be very popular. My friends have been there multiple times; this was my first. You place your order at the counter, receive a number to place on the table and wait to be served. The duck salad, mussels and fries and the salad nicoise were delicious .
