Im on holiday in the US and this was an excellent hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and were kind letting us check-in early. The hotel was very clean and not too busy which was nice. The pool and spa was nice and we had it to ourselves most of the time because there were so few people. This hotel is business oriented but was great for a family.

Really bad front desk experience at what is typically a competent hotel chain. If you are a frequent traveler and use to having your status mean anything - avoid this hotel First do not trust the complimentary van ride to the airport. I got down this morning at 6 am for the 630 van (a whole 1/2 hour ahead) - you could not schedule in advance. There was a family of six who could not get on the 6 am - since it seats 7 and there were two on already. So they had the 630 - and I had to go get a cab.

Meanwhile the front desk people were snarky. "When will the cab be here." "I have no idea, lets call them. She calls. "What did they say?", "They are on there way."

No matter who was at the desk this is how they acted. Also we called up for sheets for the couch - and it took two call and thirty minutes

Just a real bad Marriott Courtyard.

Would be terrible - but the lobby and room appeared clean.

This is a great hotel near the airport for an early morning flight. Airport shuttle is fast and free, it starts at 4:20 AM.

For a hotel near the airport we found this to be a good option. The rooms span out in a U shape from the lobby and are on two floors. Half the rooms overlook the courtyard while the other half look outwards. The rooms are pretty basic but are clean and many have balconies or walkouts. This is a huge preference for us and you will find a hard time finding hotels closer to the airport with this option. Did not check out the cafe but did you use computers in lobby which worked fine. Checked out the workout room which has some basic equipment but looks dated. There are some restaurants close by and we ate an IHOP just down the road. Hotel has a pool which looks good. Lots of parking and close to the on ramp for expressway to the airport (about 10 mins.). Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the courtyard for a quiet view.

We live in the Sacramento area and we were going to Europe for a few weeks and flying out of SFO. We booked a room for one night for when we returned as we did not want the drive home after the long trip. We drove to San Francisco before our flight and left our car at the Marriott. We had a reverse reservation, so we would be staying at the hotel the night we returned, not the day we dropped the car off. Parking is included in the cost of the room for up to 14 days. Our room with parking was $239 plus taxes. The room is no frills, but it was quiet and clean and our car was safe. You do have to call the hotel to be picked up when you land, but they were there to get us in less than 15 minutes.

We needed a hotel near the airport so we could return a rental car and fly early the next morning.

The reception looks recently modernised but the rest of the hotel has a dated feel about it.

The free computers in the lobby were handy but kept closing down for some reason just at the wrong moment.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

If you want to eat in the evening the hotel's cafe closes at 10pm but there are plenty of restaurants and a good Pizza shop nearby. The breakfast was quite good and arrived quickly.

We used the hotel's shuttle service to get to and from the hotel which was good but make sure you call for one from the airport as they don't come frequently like other hotel shuttles.

The hotel is ok. It is outdated, but the lobby seems really new and the pool looks nice. Also, you get free wifi and there are plenty of parking spaces.

The hotel is box shaped and it seems there there is only 1 main elevator to the second floor. The lobby is centrally located and the elevator is to the right. I had room 278, which meant after I got on the second floor I had to walk around the entire hotel to get to my room, which was right next to the lobby, but on the other side. I ended up taking the stairs when checking out, but that was ridiculous.

On top of that the walls are thin due to adjoining doors between rooms. If that wasn't enough, then I had to contend with the heater which was so loud that it woke me up from my sleep.

There are so many hotels in the area. I chose this one because I got a really good rate. Even so, I wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: ask to have a room close to elevator and if possible no adjoining rooms.
