Excellent location for BART and shops etc all within 5 mins walk. Airport on your doorstep so easy to access. The suite was great, clean, kitchen and plenty of space. Great facilities such as pool, Wi-Fi, computers etc. Will stay again if we bring the kids. You will look long and hard to better this place, thanks to all the staff.

Room Tip: Book early and go for an upper floor as there is less AC noise.

Traveling with my family of 6, this suite was the largest of any hotel we stayed between Anaheim and Seattle. There was a full kitchen, two separate bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living room area. Everything was very up to date and decent quality. There was some noise from airplanes passing overhead, but not in the middle of the night. The free breakfast was very nice, even the coffee was great quality(Emeril’s). Kids were able to have fresh waffles and yogurt. They had scrambled eggs and even biscuits and gravy. Unlike the Holiday Inn’s we were staying at on our road trip, Staybridge really doesn’t have an onsite restaurant for dinner. Very close by though was a BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, where I could grab some food and cold beer. The pool looked nice enough, but we arrived too late to take advantage of it.

We stayed here as a family of four in a 2-bedroom suite.

Room: Really comfortable and spacious accommodation. Comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities.

Hotel: Excellent breakfast buffet, with variation in the hot food each day. Free laundry facilities. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. Barbecue facilities are available, but we didn't see them being used. Free WiFi. Convenient parking, free.

Location: Very convenient for the airport, of course. Big shopping mall nearby with restaurants and fast-food outlets. BART station is very close - walking distance, in fact - so easy to get to San Francisco by public transport. The neighbourhood is a rather uninspiring - this is about the only negative - but what do you expect for being close to an airport?

Staff: Very friendly and helpful.

Definitely recommended as a base for exploring San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Room Tip: Suites are comfortable

Stayed here last week on a visit with family to San Fran. We had a 2 bedroom suite (and a pullout couch) which was recently renovated and very nice. Room was clean and kitchen adequately furnished although only a stove top and no oven.We walked across the street to Lucky's for our groceries and the BART station is about a 5 minute walk as well - very convenient. We took the BART in to town and then hopped the Muni to get around. I was worried that I would regret not staying downtown but it really worked out fine and was worth all the money we saved on food and was TOTALLY worth having the extra room to stretch out. The hot tub was great. Never got in the pool but kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was just ok....but did include a variety of hot and cold items.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The hotel is in the SFO flight path. It didn't bother us but if you are light sleeper then I sup...

We rented a 2-bathrroom, 2-bedroom suite and loved it! There was a hot breakfast every morning and a light dinner (dinner only for the weekdays). It was so nice to not have to run out the first two days to go get groceries. We used a rollaway crib and it was good for our baby. There was a renovated kitchenette with the essentials for light cooking and new tvs in every room. Service was outstanding and our kids loved the pool. Plane noise was loud outside but not bad at all in the room. Incredible value!

When I booked a room here I was a little concerned about commuting in to San Francisco. Turns out I was totally off the mark. The BART station is a couple minutes walk in a perfectly safe neighborhood. The commute time to almost anywhere downtown is approx. an hour via public transportation.

The rooms are clean and neat. My only negative impression is that a two room suite should have adequate meal seating for more than 3 people. It is a small thing for sure and not a deal breaker.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Everyone was attentive to requests or questions. There is a variety of stores nearby if you need to pick up something. SFO airport is the next BART stop south. The noise from the airport never caused any issues. If you are outside, it can be loud as some of the aircraft fly directly overhead. In the room it was a non-issue.

Overall the stay here was pleasant and uneventful, just what you need when you have a lot of other things going on.

I stayed here for one night in February 2013, and was very impressed. I was a bit dissappinted that they could not provide soy milk for breakfast, but I wrote in advance about it and received a very quick reply from the manageress, which was appreciated. My suite was really impressive and the kitchen was very well kitted out, on top of wolfgang puck coffee there was also a sachet of microwave popcorn, which was a nice touch. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room was spotless. The decor was fresh and modern.
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and well looked after, I especially enjoyed the multiple types of coffee on offer and the newspapers. I did not enjoy having several TVs blaring out news and sports at top volume though. This combined with deafening drilling going out outside due to construction did make for zero ambiance.
I think the construction is finished now, so I would have no hesitation to stay here again. Recommended.
