The manager is rude. The room is dirty and smelly. The worst Days Inn I've ever stayed. Never try it again.

We are working on a book. and are in the area seeking nursing positions. The service was excellent at this Day's Inn. The people are courteous and accommodating. It is a peaceful place to write. The police patrol the parking area so our vehicle is safe. We also appreciate the covered parking. There are nearby parks for a pleasant walk and Trader Joe's is within walking distance.

I appreciate the helpful and courteous staff. I do not celebrate Christmas and was pleased to experience the cultural diversity at this hotel. I would strongly recommend this Day's Inn. Intenet access is excellent and the morning breakfast is a very nice offering. There is juice, coffeee, tea, fresh fruit, muffins and cold and hot cereal. The hotel is clean and cared for. There is a place to recycle and the helpful and kind staff are very nice.

It certainly beats Motel 6 and it is more economical with more offerings. We have a refrigerator and microwave in our room.

We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel suffered a loss of quality prior to the management change in 2007. Since then, real efforts have been made to recover to the high standard we experienced here in April '06.

The overall property is sound, the extras available to guests (all-night checkin - 24-hour availablity of coffee, juice etc. - generosity of do-it-yourself breakfast - quiet rooms despite nearness of airport - standard of in-room equipment etc.) are good. The remaining problems are mainly cosmetic and will soon be resolved.

Staff attitude and service have been good. Both these, and the recovery from previous management are clearly due to the example and attitude of the General Manager, Angela Ohl. She radiates confidence and is not afraid to pitch in and do any job where required. Her relations with staff are excellent and she is seen to work the hours needed.

This is written by a retired Meeting Planner with extensive experience of hotels of all sizes and budgets. I repeat, we would stay here again.

Since I work at a Days Inn, I got a discounted rate for my stay, and definitely would not have paid anymore. The hotel was just good enough to sleep in, and even then it barely made the cut.
The room smelled stale, the sheets and blankets had holes and burns in them (in a nonsmoking room). The bathroom was dirty (walls, tub and sink were stained).
Services that they said were available weren't. (No airport shuttle, no mini fridge available in the room, ironing board in the room but no iron, no internet service - the one computer that you had to pay to use was out of service the whole week we were there.)
Most of the front desk staff were courteous (except the night person, who was too busy watching tv to get up), but uninformed. They had no information on bus schedules by the hotel or where the closest grocery stores were. I asked to borrow a phone book but they said they didn't have one.
It would be well worth the extra money to stay anywhere else. Most Days Inn are okay, this one is well below the standard.

I knew that paying very little, we weren't going to get all the amenities, but we were only staying for one night. I at least expected it to be clean. I read the reviews on yahoo and thought it would be okay.

When we arrived, it took a long time for the person at the desk to serve us. She was the only one there and the phone was ringing and other guests were lined up behind us. Even though we were in line first, they would ask her questions and she would answer, which distracted her from helping us.

The room we had was non-smoking, but it REEKED of smoke. It made me so ill. The bathroom had mold and was dirty (hair and outside dirt). Mold in the bath tub, mold in the sinks -- disgusting. The worst was just the smoke. It was embedded in our clothes and luggage after we left after only one night's stay.

Plus we went to ask the night reception person a question, who was busy watching TV, and barely got a response.

The only plus to this whole thing is that they had parking, albeit it filled up at night.

Also, the "continental" breakfast was pieces of sliced bread and cake that looked it was purchased from the local supermarket.

We'll never go to a Days Inn again.

I selected this hotel because in the advertisement they had free shuttle to the SF airport otherwise I would have stay the other place.I also made sure when I checked in and they said they surely had the shuttle service. But then at the last minute before I checked out and be hurry to go to the airport. They said they just used to have the shuttle to the airport..but now They canceled this servise about a year..Why not take this servise off the advertisement????like a lier or cheating.. The last comment is the person at the counter check in seem like don't want to servise the guest.

Inexpensive hotel that is troubled by poor service. Phone not answered for wake up calls, standard amenities in room need to be requested (face cloth, ash tray, internet connection). Good size rooms. Not a friendly area of town from what we could see. Not sure if the good price makes up for the rest of the problems. Would we stay here again? No.
