“Enjoyed it more than expected”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

Being from the UK we hadn't been to Hooters before. Our family consisted of grown ups and wouldn't recommend it for younger children but overall we were pleasantly surprised. It had atmosphere, attentive service (waitresses after maximum tips!), a wide choice of food and cold beer!. Yes the beer was pricey but the food was tasty and it made a great change in the evening

“Unpeeled shrimps and no price for beer.”
Reviewed January 21, 2011

They serve unpeeled shrimps while nothing is mentioned about that in their menu. You discover it only when you get them.
There is no price for the beers they serve in their menu. We found out why later.

We asked the server to call the restaurant manager.
The manager in charge came and had no answers.
Us: How do you serve unpeeled shrimps without mentioning it it your menu?
Manager: There is a picture in the menu when you can see they are unpeeled.
Us: And you expect your clients to analyse the pictures of your dishes in order to know how you serve them? We did not look to pictures, we read the menu.
Manager: I don't know' I work here only once a week.
Us: So ? What does it have to do with the questions we asked you?
Why are there no prices for the beers you serve?
Manager: You can ask the server.
Us: So why do you mention prices for all the other items in your menu, we can ask the server ?
Manager: I don't know' I only work here.

When we asked about beer price we discovered that they take 6 and 7 Dollars for beers that are sold everywhere else for about 4 Dollars.

It was our first time to enter a Hooters restaurant and the last one. We don't work for Hooters, so we wont peel shrimps for them and we don't like this way of cheating clients by hiding prices of expensive items.

I must say that we didn't like the way the servers were dressed, or should I say undressed. They wear short shorts and low neckline and we find it insulting and humiliating for the girls that work there.
