Walked by this place for over a year. Had a meetup with some people. Not much to look at
on the outside;but once inside it was great. Great food. Good assortment of meals. Old fashioned atmosphere. Large dining area.

Can not judge this restaurant from the outside !

Had live music.

We arrive at Friday Eve, there was a live band that played, which was very nice. The food was very good, and even the kids meals were delicious (and not very oily like in most restaurants). Our only downside was that it was very loud, we could hardly hear ourselves speak, and I don't think it was because of the music, cause it continue to be noisy even after the band finished.... All in all it was good!

Interesting combination of taste treats and nightly specials. Local acclaim the bread pudding as the treat not to be missed.

Chef-owner is also a writer and artist. Walls are decorated with interesting and impressive art.

Small and cozy outdoor seating. Inside is also comfortable and interesting re: tiles in the walls, unusual table tops.

Quiet restaurant and street near downtown Salinas.

Belly dancing monthly; donations go to non-profits.

A most interesting place in Salinas.

The chef only uses ingredients from his personal garden behind the restaurant. He is very personable, and has fantastic stories! I have never tasted anything more fresh and artfully prepared. A five star restaurant for a McDonalds price! Will be coming back many times
