We stayed for 3 nights in Joseph's Jungle. It was the most relaxing and amazing trip we have ever taken. The staff were all wonderful. Feeding the elephant Malika every morning was exciting. By the last day, it was like we were visiting with a dear friend. It was so peaceful and serene, being "city folk" we aren't used to hearing bullfrogs, crickets, and the occasional roar at night. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. I have stayed in many B&B's and this was by far the best experience of them all. It was like going on a Safari without needing to get a bunch of shots!!
We plan on returning in the near future.

I've always been obsessed with African Elephants and have dreamed of seeing them in the wild. Our friends stayed at Vision Quest awhile back and my other half remembered when he was planning our anniversary. Kristie/Christy was incredible as our guide, her knowledge of the programs, animals, and our needs was phenomenal we had a great time (and lucked out to have her all to ourselves). I don't think i will do anything in my life that could compare to looking in to an elephant's eye. We spent all afternoon just watching the dynamics of the elephants with the zebra and ostrich. Thank you for the beautiful opportunity.

Room Tip: Choose the little bit cat house for the best view of the morning routine.

Took my children ages 4 and 9. We stayed in the bears den which was two double beds. Plenty of room for all of us. We were great as far as heat at night with the space heater and heated blankets. I actually turned off the space heater as we were getting too warm. We were far off the road so it wad quiet at night. You did have to walk down to the deck to view the elephant pasture but it was maybe 300 ft away and a nice viewing deck.. The kids and I loved the entire experience from the tour to Butch's bedtime and crunch time. What child can come home from Spring Break and say she fed elephants, lions, and tigers? They enjoyed the lions roaring early in the morning and loved all the animal visits. Gabby the Baboon was a hit with my girls. They thought she was funny eating her jellybeans. They also enjoyed their breakfast delivery in the morning. What fun! We all learned a lot about all the animals and it was a great time had by all!

This was a surprise for our kids and they loved it ! My son`s favorite part was when he got to feed the Big Cats dinner and my daughter enjoyed putting the elephants to bed. If you listen real close at night it sounds like a real jungle with the animal noises. The staff was incredible and very knowledgeable. We would definitely go again !

We had the pleasure of staying at Vision Quest in February. The experience was truly unique and fun for the whole family. This will be an experience that our daughter will never forget! Also, we left my daughter's brand new fleece in the room and the staff was kind enough to locate it and mail it back to us. It was a wonderful surprise to get in the mail. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Vision Quest to anyone that enjoys animals and is looking for a unique experience.

This incredible B&B has been 30 minutes from us all these years. So glad we finally "discovered" it! The tents were fun and very comfortable- ours looked right over the animal enclosure. We watched the elephants greet eachother, the zebra and water buffalo grazing and Fred, the ostrich, acting crazy and making us laugh. Just after we settled in the trainers came by with a bear cat and then a baboon for us to meet and learn about. We opted for both special animal feedings so we were able to feed big cats and then fed some elephants by hand. During the night we could hear the lions, tigers and hyena sounding off which was very cool! In the morning another elephant, Maleka, brought us our breakfast(pastries, fruit and yogurt) and we fed her some breakfast as well. After checking out we took our included tour of the facility, which was neat but I'd recommend doing it first instead since after being at the B&B it's tough to be impressed by anything else. We will definately be back!

Room Tip: The four rooms closest to the enclosure have the best view of the animals.

My husband, 12 year old daughter and I spent one night here, while we were on a road trip from Wa to CA and back. I did not tell them the surprise of where we were landing that night. I was sooooo excited when we pulled up and saw where we were going to stay! The huge one bedroom bungalow tent was just perfect! It had two queen sized beds, a huge bathroom and a beautiful porch. We had also purchased the two "feed the animals" packages, so the first one was to feed the big cats. It was an amazing experience to be so close to the lions and the tigers! The group was nice and small, so everyone got to feed them (by the trainer putting a glob of raw meat down, and we got to push it in with a rake). After we did that, we then got to go over to the elephant enclosure and feed the elephants some carrots...what a SUPER fun experience!!! The best of ALL, were the times the trainers brought a few animals around for a personal visit...especially the elephant bringing us breakfast in the morning!!!!!!! :-0 Also, the lions huffing during the night was amazing too...felt like we were in the middle of the African Bush!
