Description: Tra Vigne Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Napa Valley's historic St. Helena, delivers a captivating blend of old world Italy and the fresh, local ingredients of wine country. The vine covered building has tall, grand ceilings. Adjacent is the mesmerizing Tuscan Courtyard, and a canopy of trees with festive white lights offers diners "al fresco" dining in a restaurant that celebrates its 25th year in the Napa Valley. The menu at Tra Vigne represents the marriage of two of the world's most renowned culinary regions: Tuscany - defined by hearty pastas, meats, cheese and olive oil and Napa Valley - a destination that celebrates fresh, local ingredients with a focus on artisanal preparation designed to highlight its acclaimed wines.

“Great Italian Lunch!”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

We had the mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, roasted peppers, and the fig and gorgonzola pizza to share at the table. All were excellent! For our entre most of us had the braised rabbit pappardelle. That was fantastic! I would definitely have that again. Our waiter was a little sarcastic which I think he meant as humor, but it is not my favorite style of service in such an expensive restaurant. He came across as a bit arrogant. We were celebrating a birthday and had dessert. The tiramisu got rave reviews.

The best meal ever! We could have made a meal out of the mozzarella appetizer and a salad, but we could not resist the other menu items. Luckily, we stayed in town so we could walk off some of our delicious dinner! Enjoy!

“Excellent fresh Italian in Center of town”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

We had a great meal with several courses, including home made cheese and a fig pizza. We had a great Sauvignon Blanc followed by an excellent Cab brought by our hostess. The carbonara was incredible, great flavour without being heavy. Our favorite Italian restaurant in town.

“Delicious with a great vibe”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

We sat outside, which was picturesque with beautiful trees and lights. Our food was wonderful: we had the salad with pears and walnuts, duck with risotto, and whole branzino roasted. Everything was delicious and perfectly flavored and prepared. Branzino is a favorite of mine and something I order frequently; this one was particularly delicious. The duck fell off the bone and was tender on the inside, with crispy skin on the outside. For dessert, the pannacotta was excellent. Other diners around us seemed quite pleased as well with their dinners. This restaurant is on my "hit list" for Napa Valley.

“A St. Helena Must”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

My favorite dinner on our trip was at Tra Vigne. Don't miss the mozzarella appetizer. The Tuscan style steak was amazing. Three of us shared it - with some left over! If the weather is nice be sure to sit on the patio.
