Description: Tra Vigne Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Napa Valley's historic St. Helena, delivers a captivating blend of old world Italy and the fresh, local ingredients of wine country. The vine covered building has tall, grand ceilings. Adjacent is the mesmerizing Tuscan Courtyard, and a canopy of trees with festive white lights offers diners "al fresco" dining in a restaurant that celebrates its 25th year in the Napa Valley. The menu at Tra Vigne represents the marriage of two of the world's most renowned culinary regions: Tuscany - defined by hearty pastas, meats, cheese and olive oil and Napa Valley - a destination that celebrates fresh, local ingredients with a focus on artisanal preparation designed to highlight its acclaimed wines.

“Incredible! Amazing!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

We had a group of 7 at Tra Vigne to celebrate an engagement dinner last night. It was an absolutely incredible dining experience from start to finish and everyone said it was one of the best meals we have had. The mozarella to start is a must have and is completely organic. The table shared 3 of the different salads and they were all unique and wonderful. I shared the 45 day aged porterhouse which they slice into filet and new york strip and it probably was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Incredible! The side of brussel sprouts are probably different than you have ever had. They rub them with parmesan cheese and chili spice, making for quite a kick! The waiter than brought tiramisu with candles for the engaged couple and shared a sweet poem which was extremely thoughtful. The only downside to the place is that the tables are very, very close together...however, this does make you think of Tusancy. All in all, a wonderful experience that I will def. want to go back to.

“Over rated”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

The service was good, the food mediocre. Been here before and had the exact same experience, I am wondering if it is the dining room itself...the space is just a huge box and feels a little oppressive. It's the architecture of the place that just doesn't work for me - the restaurant always feels empty and soulless. I think it is time for a renovation.

We had a light dinner in the bar area, lovely setting - very lively, soaring ceilings, dining room was filled.

“Excellent choice for fantastic PASTA”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's B day with some friends.
The service was excellent as well as the atmosphere. The pasta dishes were delicious and very creative. Two people from our party had ordered the big steak to share. I think this steak could easily feed four people! It was a great piece of meat really tender and tasty. I would recommend this restaurant in St Helena
