What a delightful dining experience at the Goose and Gander. It's charming atmostphere draws you in and sets the tone for cozy and comfortable dining. The cream of mushroon soup was rich and flavorful, I loved the hint of wild mushroom in each spoonful. The grilled flat iron steak was done perfectly- very tender, served over an easy bed of lentils and spinach, topped with two crisp onion rings. A very satisfying meal. I would highly recommend and return to on my next visit to the Napa Valley area.

This is the kind of restaurant I love. It has charm, personality, a great chef, delicious food and a good value for your money. This is a converted house. There is a charming bar down in the basement. The main dining room is homey and well appointed and in addition they have outside dining. The night we were there the place was packed, and that's a good sign. The food was amazing. They have a famous chef, from Ella's in Sacramento. Our table had the corn croquettes, they were smokey and delicious. I had pork shoulder, other people at our table had chippino, salmon, flat iron steak and scallops. Everyone at our table had something different. Everyone loved their entree. We also split two desserts, yum! There is an extensive wine list. This place is off the main street which lots of locals have found. Go and enjoy a great meal and glass of wine at this great little find.

This was a suggested place by many local people. They said they have the best drinks in town. The bar downstairs was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the mushroom soup and shrimp that was recommended by several people. Yes, the cocktails were delicious, and the bartenders were attentive. I definitely recommend this place for drinks! I do plan on going back and having dinner sometime.

This is the old Martini House. Nice restaurant with good food. Make reservations. Nice outside patio for when the weather is nice.

I wanted to try all the mixed drinks on the menu since they all sounded terrific but it was lunchtime. All cocktails were $11.00. Reasonable since nobody I know has most of the ingredients on hand at home. The Mai Tai sounded especially delicious. We shared the scallops and the escarole salad and the crime brûlée for dessert. Everything was first rate including the service. Oh, and they serve bone marrow. Yummy
