“Great wine & fun experience”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Six of us visited Flora Springs on our private excursion. Although told at first that we needed reservations , they waived that rule for us & allowed us to sample their wines. We were not disappointed! We bought several bottles to ship to our respective homes , & had a very enjoyable time. We didn't have enough time to do anything but taste the wines, but next time we plan to stay longer & relax. Wonderful place.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

I highly recommend a stop at this tasting room in St. Helena if you have a chance and that you upgrade from the basic $20 tasting to the $35 premium tasting. We’ve been fans of Flora Springs ever since we were fortunate enough to win a few bottles of 2002 single vineyard cab in a charity auction a few years ago. We also enjoy their Trilogy blend which is available at a lot of places.

I was a little skeptical about visiting the tasting room as I read some reviews that the tasting room staff were not too friendly. However I’m really glad we went because we had a wonderful time. We were lucky to have Brian as our host and he was really laid back and friendly. He took a lot of time with us to discuss the wines, the history of the winery and much more. He also let us sample a few wines that were not on the tasting menu. We were so happy with the experience that we took a couple of bottles to go and signed up for the wine club. Next time we’ll try one of their estate tours.

“More like a trendy bar than winery/tasting room”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

It's located right on the highway and during our visit there were tons of construction going on. I would not recommend it for a relaxing experience especially considering the $20 tasting fee for a few tastes. The hosts were very nice and helpful, so that was the most positive part of the visit

“Flora Springs Estate Tour”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

We did the Flora Springs Estate Tour with Jason Bullock and it was fabulous. Unfortunately for us, we were traveling on that afternoon, so we were unable to just drink all day! We love Trilogy - it is our favorite wine, so there was no question of where we wanted to go while in Napa Valley! The caves were amazing, the property itself is incredibly beautiful. Jason was so knowledgeable and funny - we could not have had a better time. In the moment, I wanted to cancel the rest of our trip and just stay here for a few weeks. We are definitely planning a return trip with friends and for a longer stay. We also did a picnic lunch at the Flora Springs tasting room, which was perfect before we continued traveling.

“Beautiful wine tasting venue”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

On Highway 29 it is busy with traffic but once you walk inside Flora Springs' tasting room the atmosphere changes. It is welcoming, hip and casual. The wines are excellent across the board. The Trilogy(meritage) is exceptional. On this Sunday the wine attendant offered us a 10 year old comparison between a 2010 and 2000 Cabernet. If you buy a bottle the tasting fee seems to be waved. Of course I was with a Napa local so we may have gotten a little better treatment. Also check out the seating upstairs looking out at the vineyards- beautiful.
