Having enjoyed Duckhorn wine at home in Texas, we were eager to visit this winery. We stopped by on Saturday, September 1st to inquire about reservations for Sunday. We were treated rudely by the host (Zach?), but secured resevations for Sunday at 1:00pm. We spoke with Melissa outside and she persuaded us to try the garden tasting which did not require reservations. Melissa was very helpful and pleasant. The garden tasting was relaxing and restful. We appreciated Melissa's kindness. When we returned on Sunday, the inside hostess was abrupt and informed us that our tasting was "comped". We were escorted to a small table against the wall with no view and in the path to and from the kitchen. Our tasting host was friendly, but had excuse herself to go to lunch and the bartender would complete our tasting. The inside tasting was very sparsely attended and we never received any pairings to accompany the wine offerings. Very nice facility. But, we were very disappointed with our experience at Duckhorn.
