Description: Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. The regular menu is available everyday. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Walk-ins are welcome

The food at Farmstead was very good. We had eaten here before and my wife wanted to go back. I had chicken that was amazing. My cousin had the cheeseburger and cleaned his plate. My wife loved her risotto. Our server recommended a rye whiskey for me and she was right on the money. I'd go back every day if I could.

From start to finish, this was a delight. We were all "wined out" from our day. The bartender had spot-on beer recommendations while we waited on the cozy heated patio. We were welcomed on time for our reservation to a warm, bustling room with a casual atmosphere and gorgeous lighting. We had an array of very fresh appetizers, including oysters and the not-to-be-missed biscuits. We LOVED the ribs and brisket. Portions sizes were embarrassingly large but we had to try the lemon meringue pie, best ever. All in all, we were happy to try this new place and heard the corkage was a deal... For next time!

We recently ate at the Farmhouse with friends on a wine-tasting tour. What a hearty and healthy meal we had--it helped to absorb some of that wine!. I enjoyed the trout; others in our party had barbeque. We all enjoyed the apple cole slaw and shared a side of brussel sprouts. This would be a great place to eat outside --very nice patio area. Efficient and pleasant server.

Came in on a rainy Friday night. Started off with the artichoke appetizer. It was steamed and then smoked. They added a little salt and olive oil to it. Really good.I had the pork chop and my wife had the cheeseburger. Both were well prepared.

I thought the service and value were excellent for the dinner. We will come back if in the area.

My dining companions and I decided on sharing an order of Heritage St Louis Ribs, which were meaty, wonderfully barbequed, and plentiful, acompanied by apple cole slaw, which was delicious. We supplemented our split with potato salad - a bit spicy but uniquely tasty - and mac & cheese, also delicious. We ordered a second round of apple cole slaw. We walked in without a reservation and were seated quickly. The atmosphere was a bit barn-like but perfect for barbeque. At times there was a noticeably high level of noise.
