Description: Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. The regular menu is available everyday. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Walk-ins are welcome

Had dinner on a weeknight and although restaurant was packed our service was impeccable and food was outstanding! Everything we ordered was wonderful and the waitress was very helpful with guiding us with what to order (artichokes, meatballs, salmon and pork chop). Atmosphere was very fun. We liked it so much we stopped back a few days later for happy hour and were thrilled to find a discounted appetizer and drink menu. Great spot!

It has a casual relaxed atmosphere, and the food is extremely fresh with a large garden on the property. Start with the mini ham sandwiches with pepper jelly on cheddar biscuits (really!). The beet salad, roasted artichoke, and gnocchi dishes were also simply outstanding. A very memorable experience.

Wow - really casual spot but the best dinner we had in the Napa Valley area. The stars of the show were the meatballs with caramelized root vegetables and tomato marmalade and the olive oil cake (griddled)...we could not get enough! They also have a huge outdoor patio with live music - a welcome change from the really posh restaurants available in the Valley.

This was our second visit to Farmstead, after a less than perfect first experience late last year - and we all agree that these seemed like a much different and much improved place from the one we visited in November of last year. My wife and I were seated in the ample, high ceiling main dining room and despite the big space it never got too loud or seemed like you were eating in a barn ! In fact it had a warm, comfortable feeling. this was helped by our excellent and very professional server who never seemed to do enough for us, from refilling the complimentary bottled still/sparkling waters, to bringing us the biscuits and excellent courses. The steak tartar was well prepared, seasoned evenly and when we added the egg yolk it was lucious on the toasted slices of bread. My wife and I shared a liter of the house white wine (oddly served in an Erlenmeyer Flask - think HS Chemistry Class) and enjoyed the Arugela and Strawberry salad, as well as the local oyster platter. The NY Strip was the meat special of the night and we were not disappointed. A side of asparagus helped us get in those badly needed local veggies and we finished off with a few glasses of local red wine - skipping dessert becuase we were simply TOO FULL ! Nice winelist (and priced fairly) and even nicer is the $2 corkage fee (which they apparently even donate to local charities). Bring a friend, a serious appetite and maybe a nice cab from a local vinter and you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ! Bravo for the step up in service and food ! You guys are in the groove. Stay there and we will keep coming back.

We had three nice dinners on our trip to Napa and Sonoma Valleys. This was the best of the three and the most reasonably priced. We had a beautiful evening and ate on the patio. We were in shorts from hiking. The menu has many choices and all the food we saw looked great. We ordered salad and a chicken dish (normally not too exciting) but it was excellent! Service was interesting. We had 3 different people waiting on us and all 3 were very experienced and professional. They also give you a token for a free wine tasting at their tasting room next door. The grounds are well maintained and the outside deck is very nice.
