Owner description: Beringer Vineyards embodies the timeless appeal and seductive flavor of the Napa Valley. As the region's oldest continuously operating winery, we offer guests the opportunity to experience a winemaking tradition dating back more than 130 years. Visit the iconic Rhine House, taste our celebrated wines in the Old Stone Winery or take a tour and learn more about our wines and history.

For the money, the tour at Castello di Amorosa is much better. This is tour of a non-working winery and you only get to taste two wines. You can see the magnificent house and gift shop without having to pay. Save your money and go a few more miles down the road.

We walked through some of the exquisite grounds and gardens and then headed straight to the Rhine House for a reserve wine tasting with Gina. The wines were superb and the tasting session with Gina was the most instructive and best fun that we had in two days of multiple winery visits. I especially appreciated the ability to pair some of these wines with food (the cheese plate) because it does so much to bring out the best in the wines! We bought our favorites and have a new appreciation for Beringer wines and the deep history associated with this winery. Highly recommend this winery visit.

Loved this visit to Beringer Winery. Staff were amazingly helpful and took to our quirky British sense of humour with fondenss.

We just love Beringer's White Zinfandel so it was great to visit the winery and get a better understanding of our favourite tipple, also to discover they produced a sparkling variant (that I have since sourced back in the UK thank goodness). The wine tour was most informative and the visit to their caves most impressive. We sampled several wines as part of the guided tour. Wines in their shop are reasonably priced and it would have been rude not to buy a few bottles to drink in our hotel rooms each evening. Have been a fan for years, even more so now having enjoyed the friendly hospitality in person.

Immacule grounds, great vegetation and gorgeous house!! As for the wine tasting....look at any menu and just pick.....no explanations, suggestions or information. Your are left to your own standing bar area, sip taste and get out....is the vibe we got.....

The Beringer property is really lovely. The grounds are picturesque and we loved the historical aspect of this tour.
This was one of our first tasting experiences in wine country and I'm glad we started here. (Although after this we tried to hit smaller, less commercial wineries)
We did a tour/tasting that started with a trip through the caves and barrel rooms. Our guide, Cyle, was great and we enjoyed the history lesson and learning more about the wine making process.
Once we finished the tour, Cyle brought us to a pretty room in the house for a tasting which was paired with small bites (breadsticks, cheese, chocolates) and he led us through a wine tasting and pairing.
We all really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it!
