You will have lots of choices when you visit the Napa Valley but make sure this one is on the top of your list. Excellent food options to pair with award winning wines. They have a large shaded picnic area and a nice gift shop to purchase items to remember your visit. It can get busy here so try to come early if possible.

Embarrassed to confess we never actually went to the winery itself, just to the marketplace. Twice, though, as the sandwiches were so good, and the picnic area lovely! We asked for a wine recommendation, and the server was kind enough to pour us a splash taste before we committed to the bottle - super helpful! The grounds are very pretty, and the workers SUPER nice, inviting us to check out the crushing, not pushing paid tastings or purchases. May sneak in a third trip on our way back to the airport... that Bresaola sandwich beckons!

I want to say this is my favorite winery in Napa. However, it my favorite may be bias, since I was only to Napa once and only got to go to like 3 wineries. This was our first stop and it ended up being my favorite. The grounds are beautiful, but I enjoyed most was the tasting of course. The person giving us the tastings was incredible. Funny, nice, and knew his wine.

I picked this winery as well to stop at because I heard they have a nice variety of some sweeter stuff. Though I like a good dry red, my husband does not. They had a few things sweeter. Surprisingly he enjoyed a lot of the wines that weren't even sweet. Said they were smooth in the finish which helped. The Zinfadel's were good that I tried, and that is a varietal I don't typically enjoy.

Overall can't say enough good things about this winery. A great introduction to Napa with a great variety of wines.
