Owner description: V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.

“Great stop in wine country!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We stopped here and liked almost everything about it. It is one of the few wineries where you could buy a sandwich and eat it outside at the picnic tables. Wide choice of wine types. Very friendly staff. I would recommend it.

“Great little place”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

Interesting that the only place to purchase V. Sattui Wines is here at the winery or via their wine club. Great tasting - really enjoyed shopping in the deli!

“great experience”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

Good food and good wine--what more could you ask for? We tasted six wines (plus a bonus two because of our awesome wine pourer) for $10. What a deal! The Italian deli there is also awesome. We had a turkey and provolone sandwich on the freshest focaccia bread ever, along with tomato and house-made mozzarella salad and roasted vegetables. The picnic grounds are very inviting. The wines are fine--not the best in the valley, but very drinkable. We left with the dry riesling, and a merlot, along with the memory of a very pleasurable experience.
