Visited last week while in Wine Country with my wife and friends. We always make it a plan to visit Pride for a picnic, tour and tasting. As is the norm, all was A+++. Beautiful day for a picnic overlooking the vistas from the hill; magnificent views. The tour of the wine caves was great, and the tasting and the staff are always the best of the trip. Pride is the best!

We did the Summit Experience. Yep it's $75, but we were there to buy wine so we didn't get charged. Not sure why you would go to Pride Mountain, unless you were there to make a purchase or are already a big fan. Andy was our guide and made the experience ours. My wife wanted to go into the vineyard and understand the growing process, we had barrell tastings and finally a private tasting in a room one could die in. Fabulous experience, beautiful winery and no pushy sales folks. Great job and worth the trek up the mountain.

We chose this winery because of its location at the top of Spring Mountain. My husband said the drive up alone was worth the tasting fee--he loved the curvy, windy mountain road. It really was beautiful (glad our rental car had some pep!) The fee, by the way, is only $10 per person for a tasting, $15 for the tour. We did the tasting, but got a tour anyway, which included a walk through the wine cave (very cool). The views are spectacular and the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The wine was also delicious!

The setting is unbelievable with a view toward Napa and Sonoma. We signed up for a tasting which to our surprise included a tour by Jay both out to demonstration vines and into the caves. The wine was amazing. We took a picnic up to the summit and enjoyed a peaceful lunch with a view that could not be beat by any of the other wines we visited.

You will love the gorgeous setting - next time we will take a picnic. The tour with Scott was great, we were a group of 4, and got a private experience that was top notch. I was amazed by their wine! We got a dozen bottles thanks to Scott working to customize just what we wanted. We LOVED it and would love to return. Do not miss this one!
