My husband wanted a B&B/Inn nestled among vineyards. Found Wine Country Inn online with Carol booking our room. Felt we were friends upon arrival! Our room had a fireplace (gas), huge sitting area, and a private outdoor terrace w/table and 2 chairs as well as a hot tub overlooking the vineyards. We took advantage of the InnCursion with Tracy as our guide. Excellent choice. Husband got to sit back & enjoy the ride, not having to bother with 'where to tour'. Janelle, the driver of the Inn shuttle, suggested local eateries - especially Market! Wonderful!!! Guy is truly Master Chef of HIS kitchen. Breakfast was a treat every morning. The evenings included appetizers w/local wineries featured. We mingled with other guests who shared their experiences in the Napa area. Totally an enjoyable and relaxing trip!!! Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Call as early as possible. Seems like lots of people are finding out about this well-kept secret place.

We LOVED this place. To save money, we stayed in the "smallest" room, and were pleasantly surprised at how large it was -- there was even a small "nook" that fit my 3 year-old son's cot perfectly. Can't even imagine how huge the other rooms must be.
The breakfast was very, very good. And the afternoon hors d'oeuvres were even better -- great food, plus a different indie winery was pouring wine every day. It was like getting an extra (free!) tasting every day. We looked forward to it every afternoon.
The grounds were outstandingly beautiful. What a great setting to be right in a vineyard. The flowers and herbs growing everywhere just added to the "getaway" ambiance. But it's less than 3 minutes to town, so you don't feel far away.
We got several coupons for free tastings at wineries, and one more (Freemark Abbey) actually returned our tasting fee when they heard we were at Wine Country Inn. We feel like we saved a ton of money that way!
The pool was lovely and my 3 year old loved it.
The people there were incredibly friendly and SO nice to my son. As were the rest of the guests.
We will definitely stay here again and again! Great location, setting, value & luxury!

My husband and I wanted a relaxing, romantic getaway in Napa, and we found it at The Wine Country Inn. We splurged on the Inn-cursion package and was glad we did. We arrived about 30 minutes before our check-in time at 3 as we had a couples massage scheduled at 4. The desk receptionist was very nice, but said the room was not ready. However, she suggested that we take a short walk next door to a winery there and told us to let them know we were guests of the Inn. We did that and the winery gave us a free tasting and it was very good. It was a nice start to our stay. The couples massage in the cabana next to the vineyard is awesome.

Our room was #9, which has a great balcony overlooking the vineyards. It felt very private and is roomy with two sitting chairs and a fireplace. The bathroom is only a shower, but we were more interested in the view. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings with our coffee and breakfast. Breakfast delivered to the room was part of our package. It was kind of an odd breakfast. Along with the usual breakfast items (bread, fruit, juice, coffee etc.), we were served on both mornings an egg casserole heavily layered with jalapeno peppers, which wasn't very palatable to me. I would suggest giving guests an option if an egg dish is going to be served on whether they would want it prepared with peppers or not.

The day long tour of the wineries was an exceptionally enjoyable part of the trip. It was so nice to have a knowledgeable guide with such a pleasant personality drive us to some of his favorite wineries. Marty Paradise, our guide, is very knowledgeable (in fact we learned later that he is a trained wine expert) and took us to some great locations from one end of the valley to the other. We also liked that the tour is limited. We had only one other couple on our excursion and enjoyed getting to know them as well. We were brought back to the Inn for lunch, which was a delicious salad, bread, olives, and your choice of salmon or tri-tip (some kind of meat...I think beef...I had the salmon and it was nicely prepared). It was a perfect lunch after 2 wine tastings - one paired with food - and more to go to afterwards.

Another great amenity they offer is a shuttle service to area restaurants. It was nice not to have to worry about finding the restaurant nor about how much wine had been consumed that day and at dinner. Even the shuttle drivers were pleasant and happy to talk about the valley if you wanted to.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience for us and I would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Talk to the staff and they will guide you.

We wanted the Perfect Wine Country Experience - so we looked at over 15 different places and found this one!!! From check in til check out service was great! Inn was clean and very comfortable. Our room had a great view of the vineyards from our balcony and from our tub! Breakfast each morning was delicious and each evening they have wine tastings in the main room. I HIGHLY recommend you do the "INNcursion" they will take about 6 people from the Inn to 6 local wineries for tours and tasting - they also include a Gourmet lunch-they doo all the driving! They also provide shuttles to local restaurant and shops - it's a great service! We are looking forward to going back again!

Our stay at the Wine Country Inn was amazing. We were looking for a little bit of luxury and we got it! The room we had was great (although the bathroom was older and little). We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub, and wine tastings in the afternoon. We would encourage anyone to take advantage of the package deals! Our first trip to the Napa/Sonoma Valley was wonderful and we are excited to go back!
