My husband and I visited Schweiger during our vacation to California and would highly recommend this winery. We have traveled to wine country in Argentina, Italy, and Napa, and Schweiger is at the top of our list. The wines are great, the views are incredible, and everyone there is extremely friendly. We did our tasting on the terrace and it was one of the highlights of our 7-day trip. Carly was great, and she also gave us some recommendations for the rest of our trip that were very helpful. We also got to meet Fred Schweiger, the owner who has been on the estate for years and years. You need a reservation for your tasting, so make sure you call ahead. Also, be sure to say hello to the sweet vineyard dogs!

Decided to check this place out based on recommendation from people at our bed and breakfast. We were the only people there and it was great. Spent a lot of time learning not just about wine, but about the business of winemaking (probably because no one else was there). Great photo op off the balcony into the vinyard. Must visit.

My wife and I dropped by Schweiger for a tasting in March 2013. We were the only tasters there, and got plenty of personal attention. Our pourer was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting fee is waived with purchase of a bottle. We came away with some fantastic cabernet, and had a great time. Highly recommended.

The location is a bit remote but once you are there, the views and the hospitality are amazing. The wines are very nice as well.

Decided to visit Schweiger winery at the last moment after some plans became altered. Called the winery who were only too pleased to have the two of us visit, even though we were only providing 20 or 30 minutes notice.

We are glad we made the decision because this winery was easily the most friendly and enjoyable of our entire holiday. Upon arrival we were greeted by the GM, James, who actually made the effort of leaving the winery to greet us at our car and escort us inside.

The wine tasting room is small which gives it an intimate feel. Erin, the friendliest and most down to earth "hostess" we have met on our two visits to Napa, immediately made us feel at home. 2.5 hours later we were still talking...but more like old friends then people who had just met. Great company and great wine - cannot recommend this winery enough.
