The location is a bit remote but once you are there, the views and the hospitality are amazing. The wines are very nice as well.

“Extraordinary tasting experience”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

Decided to visit Schweiger winery at the last moment after some plans became altered. Called the winery who were only too pleased to have the two of us visit, even though we were only providing 20 or 30 minutes notice.

We are glad we made the decision because this winery was easily the most friendly and enjoyable of our entire holiday. Upon arrival we were greeted by the GM, James, who actually made the effort of leaving the winery to greet us at our car and escort us inside.

The wine tasting room is small which gives it an intimate feel. Erin, the friendliest and most down to earth "hostess" we have met on our two visits to Napa, immediately made us feel at home. 2.5 hours later we were still talking...but more like old friends then people who had just met. Great company and great wine - cannot recommend this winery enough.

“Wonderful tasting experience”

We loved our visit. The tasting room and view is beautiful. The atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and friendly. The tasting experience was personable, gracious, and flexible to our interests. And we loved the wine! We will return.

“Best small vineyard in Napa Valley area”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Four of us visited the winery on February 23rd, 2013. We were greeted warmly by Carly who gave us the best personal attention of any winery we visited in the valley. Of course people go to wineries to taste wine and this wine was superb.

We had not purchased any wine to date but the 5 wines we tasted along with such personal attention ( I ask LOTS of questions ) convinced both couples to join their wine club, buy an autographed wine box and I bought a Schweiger golf shirt.

Aaron also assisted telling us about the winery and of course the views are magnificent. Check out their Facebook page to see a picture of the four of us with Carly and Aaron.

“Best Experience in Napa Valley....by far”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

Called in on a Tuesday Morning to see if they were taking walk ins. The response was "we'll make it work". After an exciting journey up the mountain, we snuck in the gate behind a UPS truck. Make sure you stop at the gate and call, even if it is open. We were the only two people there at the time. The view from the balcony of the tasting room was amazing. We spent probably an hour talking with James about how he got into the business, how the wine business works, fruit yield per acre, land costs, etc. (Pretty much everything you would want to know about wine). He was very personable and honest. We tasted everything on (and a few things off) the tasting list. I would definitely make it a point to visit this vineyard again.
