The people that work here are very nice. Everything else is pretty poor. Not something that I normally complain about especially in a dive type place, but it is kinda dirty in general. They messed up my order, but replaced it very quickly and were cool about it. The food just isn't very good. My wife's corned beef has was gross, at best and my chicken fried steak was bland. Coffee is meh. The hash browns are ok, but not worth the raves that they receive.

Several years ago, this was a well-known favorite for a breakfast worth waiting in line for. New owners took over and just ruined a wonderful thing. Too bad.

Their breakfasts are simply the best. Ample portions of what you order, containing the top level of taste and quality for an affordable price. Their sausages are primo!

Went for a late Sunday breakfast. Since it was late, seating was not a problem. Had the veggie platter with a side of bacon. A LOT of food. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Service was decent. Would definitely return.

You would think breakfast would be a reliable meal to prepare, but somehow Lucky Cafe just doesn't get it right. Just not that tasty. Try Cornerstone (at Headhunter's) or for a fresh change of pace the Chilaquiles at Jalapeños on 21st Street.
