“What a Great "Little" Place”

You almost have to know where this place is to find it, there is barely a sign, and it is only one side of the building, nothing on the front by the door area. Once you make it in to the place, make sure to look at the specials board, because that is where about half of what is actually available is displayed. The Garilc Steak Sandwich and the Smoked Brisket Sandwich are really fantastic. Other's have raved about the Prime Rib and Fresh Fish, things I haven't gotten around to trying yet. Try the potato salad as a side, it is truly just like mom used to make. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Ironically, they seem to close on the weekends, and you'll have trouble getting a seat during happy hour.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is somewhat dated but that makes the place unique. Can't wait to go back to Sacramento.

We expected a wow experience with the food. It was good, but missing the 'wow'. The atmosphere was definately dive-esque as featured in Diners, Drive-in's, and Dives, which is what we hoped for. We had a group of 7, including 2 children, and gratuity was included without notice. Overall, a good experience and would recommend it without hesitation.

It is a true dive...but still the bomb! In the middle of nowhere....no signage...no windows...no problem! Scratch made food...a foodies delight. The smoked prime rib is amazing.

Although Jamie's was featured on the Food Network's "Diners,Drive-In's & Dives" it remains a secret to many. But, rest assured, this is THE place for those in the "know". The food is classic, home-style and homemade. The meats are all smoked on sight and even the mayonaise is made from scratch! It is a busy little place for good reasons...The food is fabulous, the service stellar and the atmosphere is friendly. Everything about Jamie's makes you want to do it again soon.
