I've only been to this place for Brunch and once again it did not disappoint. Get a seat on the lovey riverfront deck and order the Bottomless Mimosas (provided you have a driver or Uber/Lyft etc.) The food is good with both breakfast and lunch entrees during Brunch. It's a nice haven in the midst of a full on Tourist attraction.

Made reservation for Sunday brunch based on rave reviews. In the reservation, we requested patio seating, near water & view. There were plenty of tables available matching our request but we we seated away from the water in a high traffic area. We asked to be reseated to one of the tables matching our request, the host & hostess agreed to move us---30 minutes after we asked. Then it took another 45 minutes before anyone took our order. The food was fine and patio seating is nice but neither can make up for the terrible service. Cannot recommend this restaurant simply for the poor management & service.

Nice place to enjoy a gathering of friends. The rio burger was moist and flavorful and the sweet potato fries were a nice addition. We also enjoyed clam chowder and a seafood louie type of salad; gorgeous/generous slices of avocado and yummy crab and shrimp. The server was pleasant and efficient. Enjoyed the atmosphere. We used the valet parking; a little pricey but very convenient.

Rio City had a very good service for beer. The beer was very cold and served in a cold glass. Their IPA selection needs improvement, but they had a couple. The waitress and service was very good. My wife had a wedge salad and appetizer meat balls in marinara. I had jambalaya. The meat balls were quite spicy and there was no warning of that. They were tasty. The wedge salad was quite nice. The jambalaya did not have enough rice and the rice was plane white rice. There were only "2" shrimp in the fish which was a deficit and ideally should have been "6" at a minimum. The atmosphere was nice. The jambalaya was tasty, but could have been improved as stated.
