We had a late dinner at The Porch starting with mac and cheese as a starter, which had excellent flavor but wasn't under the broiler quite long enough because we had some spots that were refrigerator cold. For entrees we had the fried chicken plate which was a huge mound of delicious fried chicken; juicy and flavorful with authentic southern sides updated for modern diners.
Overall, despite some inconsistencies, The Porch was a big win. A charming place with attentive staff and good food.
