Brunch spots in Sacramento are a dine a dozen. 58 degrees has an wonderful seasonal brunch menu. They offer a $15.00 credit towards a bottle of wine, and a very low key atmosphere in a very popular neighborhood. I have never had to wait for a table on a Sunday morning, which is rare in this area.

Great location with a great crowd! What a fun way to enjoy friends, wine and cheese...the cheese trays are awesome!

This really is a wine bar, and what a wine bar it is. An incredible selection of the very finest wines, many obscure and hard to get, like the Jermann Pinot Grigio from Venezia Giulia in Italy and Pride Sonoma Merlot, both of which I enjoyed immensely. The barmaid was very knowledgable.
Tables inside are high tops, not the most comfortable for dining, but we were able to sit at one of 5 or 6 white table cloth tables outside on one of Sacramento's first warm evenings this spring.
Four of us started by sharing 2 asparagus salads with shaved parmesan and a poached egg. Wonderful.
My 3 guests ordered the perfectly seared scallops with an asian/ginger accent and were they good! The Quincey was a great match.
I had the steak sandwich with brie and the Pride Merlot. I was in heaven.

This quaint restaurant/wine bar/wine shop is in a bustling area of mid-town with lots to walk to in the surrounding area. The restaurant and bar area are on one side, and wine shop on the other. Intimate place, modern-looking, nice bar area, only a few tables, and some comfy couches for relaxing with some vino. I love sitting in the couch area and tasting several different wine flights and sharing a cheese plate or other apps. The wine shop is great and staff knowledgeable for getting help picking out a wine gift or for holiday dinners. Be conscious of how many "tastes" you order - the wine flights add up quick if you're trying a bunch of them! More affordable option is to taste just a few and then order a full glass, or bottle for the group. It's a great place to taste unique wines you wouldn't find available by-the-glass at other restaurants. Cool experience, definitely a great place to check out.

Good for lunch or for a light dinner. We did both. The wine tasting choices are varied and the wait staff are knowledgable. We fund several good red wines that we followed up by visiting their winery. This is a good option for downtown lunch.
