The B Street Theater is run by two men, one of which has ties to Hollywood. It is a small, intimate theater, but you can see the stage well from everywhere. Many of the plays are first-run, world premiers! The comedies are often hilarious; the dramas touching. The theater selects plays which may be neglected by others, such as the set regarding Autism done over the years. There is an associated theater for children, which presents plays to thousands of schoolchildren annually. When you attend this theater, you are supporting a large vision for the wider Sacramento community!

We have had season tickets for a number of years and have grown tired of the B Street. Many of the plays are written by one of the founders and others brand new with little performance history. So, some are really bad but most are entertaining. It is wonderful that young interns can work their craft, but it just gets "old" seeing plays that are not well known.

saw the Price by Arthur Miller. one actor came in from nyc to be in the show. if the Price is indicative of the quality of shows performed here, we definitely understand why people from San Francisco and Reno come here. this is top notch theatre.

A nice little theater where there are no bad seats. The plays there are very good and very reasonable in cost. The seats so close to the stage allow you to feel part of the production. The sets are very creative to accomodate the theater in the round.

We have been season ticket holders for 3 years because we love small theater, enjoying the actors and actresses etc. Mainstage and B3 are good, sometimes great, sometimes off the mark, but the Family Series is remarkable. Perfect length for children, with action such as throwing coconuts above the audience," tigers" that go sniff or claw at children, and characters that make eye contact to get points across. Can not believe how they take tough subjects...Diary of Anne Frank, Underground Railroad etc and make them memorable and understandable to children. We take our niece and nephews but I would find children to take if we did not have relatives close. Open a child's horizons, take them to B Street!
Also, we, as season ticket holders, take full advantage of changing the nights of our tickets, B Street is incredibly accomodating.
