I stayed here with my husband for one night because I had a licensing exam in Sac early in the morning. A friend of mine had a modeling shoot at the hotel and said it seemed cool. It was dirt cheap, which I found odd because the pictures looked nice.
Down to brass tacks. The woman in the room next to us was prostituting. No joke and no question about it. I don't think she was the only one, but the only one I know for sure. It's in a rough part of town. Lots of homeless people. No one was around at check out. We called the front desk cell number. We were told to leave the key locked in our room. A homeless man tried to get us to leave the key with him.
The room itself wasn't as nice as the pictures and very very dimmly lit. Not sure I would want to see the room in bright light. Wouldn't stay here again. NO CLUE how this was on some top 10 Sacramento hotel list.
