Owner description: When Tony and Herta "H.B." Peju relocated to Rutherford from Los Angeles 32 years ago, they brought with them a vision of building a winery, an unwavering work ethic, and two young daughters who soaked in the couple's entrepreneurial spirit and love for Napa's beautiful farmland. They established Peju Province Winery and dedicated themselves to welcoming guests and to crafting exceptional wines from their organically farmed estate vineyard. Still family owned and operated today, Peju Province Winery has transformed over the past 32 years from a simple grape growing venture into a landmark winery celebrated for elegant, complex, and balanced wines in the classic Bordeaux varieties.

Southwest Airlines of Napa... Un-friending those who recommended it!

Horrible vineyard to follow up after going to places like Hendry, Charles Krug, Duckhorn and Domaine Carneros.

Just returned from a trip to Napa and Sonoma Valley. Stopped a many wineries but one of our favorites was Peju! The service we received, the atmosphere, everything was perfect especially the wine. We purchased a case and can't wait for its arrival. Would recommend stopping in if anyone is ever in Napa.

We bought an entire case of Peju we loved it so much. The guy behind the counter serving the wine was funny and very upbeat. One of the friendliest and most fun tastings we had on the trip. Loved their Provence and Rose of Syrah wine!

Despite numerous trips to Napa Valley over the years, my husband and I had never visited this winery, despite it's convenient Rt. 29 location. One of our sons, along with my best friend, had gone there at different times and recommended that we try it. We went early on a Saturday (it was crushing season, after all) and were treated to a great tasting by Jeff Vaughn. We bought a case!

We enjoyed our tasting for $20 each, upstairs where the wine barrels are kept. We were grouped with another couple and a group of women. Tom was very knowledge about the wine making process and the Peju family history. He even gave us a few pointers for making wine at home. All five wines were great (I can't say I had a single BAD wine in Napa!) and we were discounted one tasting fee after purchasing a bottle of wine. The experience seemed a little rushed, maybe because we were put into a larger group. The portions were not nearly as generous as Robert Mondavi (which was also done at a more leisurely pace)) The grounds are pleasant but we didn't spend much time exploring.
