Our first stay at a Hyatt Place. Definitely challenges the the amenities of Embassy Suites for about $50-75 less. Limited Starbucks, with mochas, lattes, coffee and tea along with beer, wine open until midnight. Pastries, sandwiches, personal pizza, salad, burgers available 24 hours fairly priced in a sheik atmosphere. We tried chocolate drizzle mini bunt cake, turkey and swiss sandwich, personal pizza, mochas. Beer and wine...just right selection. The food exceeded my expectations for quick order items. Staff was so attentive and friendly to our family of 5. Rooms had plenty of space and comfortable sleeping accommodations for 5. Would have been happy to pay for made to order breakfast considering the cost savings for the room. It is available to order by computer touch screen for only $6-8. We were happy with free toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. Hyatt found the nitch that fits today's economy. A win for both of us. . Above a Hampton, Courtyard or Holiday Express. Our AAA rate was just $98. Perfect.

This is the first new Hyatt Place I have stayed at. The others I have experienced in Illinois and Florida were converted Amerisuites which were very nice since everything is new, or now, just a few years old. Some subtle changes in the new design, mostly improved over the old. The best part is the pool area is much better than the old, basic amerisuites. Even comes with a hot tub, although it should be bigger since the stairway/steps take up most of the usable space. Only about 3 adults can sit in it comfortably at a time, but it is better than nothing!
I had one day of business in Sacramento so had to leave early and missed the breakfast. Kinda far out from downtown and with heavy rush hour traffic you have to get up early. In a very new area with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Check in was efficient, the staff were friendly and there was free guest parking. The room was very large. There were two queen beds which was separated by a screen from another part of the room which contained some corner sofas and office chair and table. The room also had the usual coffee maker and mini fridge. There was a large flatscreen television (with cable channels) that you could swerve to view from the settee or the bed. The bathroom was also modern and well done with a showerhead over the bath. The bedroom section also houses the sink and drawers with a large mirror. We also had free wi-fi. There was a complimentary continental breakfast included with the usual cereal, toast, juice etc. But you could also purchase other hot breakfasts too. There are a number of restaurants nearby that can be reached easily by car and there is also a Westfield nearby. The hotel seems to be fairly new, albeit a little difficult to find initially. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms were roomy, clean and well appointed. Good size TV, nice shower. Hyatt uses excellent bedding, especially the pillows. I took off the pillow cases to see what they are and will be purchasing some when i get home. You can buy the pillows from the Hyatt site but Costco has some from the same manufacturer, maybe not exactly the same - maybe better? - for a lot less than the hotel's retail site.

Anyway the hotel was pretty nice and worth the extra bucks over the cheaper place I stayed last time in Roseville.

Thanks so much to Tracey. Tanya and all the women who staff this wonderful Hotel. We were exiles from a truly horrible experience up the road at Thunder Valley, and these amazing ladies showed what true service is all about. If you ever have any need for a room within 30 miles, I highly reccomend staying at Hyatt Place because they go way way way out of there way to make you feel welocmed and take care your every need!

We were pleasantly surprised to find how large and spacious these rooms were. They could have been jr. suites. Our room had a large sofa sectional with ottoman, a great place to hang out, surf the free wifi internet, and/or watch TV on the 42" plasma they had in the rooms.

Continental breakfast was free and there was a nominal fee for hot items such as eggs or waffles, but for our family of five, it was a good value.

There are a lot of hotels in this area, but this one was large enough, and had all the free amenities we could ask for. we will definitely come back again

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place twice in the past two months. Would highly advise staying here. Top notch accomodations with very reasonable rates. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable can't beat it.
