Barn yes - Eating tons of food yes - Don't plan on eating lunch after eating breakfast here cuz you are so full after this grubfest. The waffles are good but honestly it's just way too filling. I do like it though :)

We go out a lot for breakfast and have tried just about every place in Roseville. Yes, the Original Pancake House is very good, but very expensive. When you go out a lot, you look for value. This restaurant has had the consistently best breakfast for the money of any (including other cities I have been to). It does not have a lot of "wow-you" fancy or gourmet breakfasts - just plain good country breakfasts. It is an everyday kind of place. It is clean, the waitstaff friendly and prompt, the food served quickly, you get a lot of food (we often split a meal), and the prices are downright cheap. There always seems to be a wait (especially on weekends), but they turn the tables quickly. They have a dish that literally comes with 3 pounds of potato (not recommended for the faint of heart). Their waffle dishes are great (many are really desserts) and there are a variety of options you can get with each meal including fresh fruit. Their best is a weekday special that is not on the menu or special board - a $3.99 ham and eggs breakfast that cannot be beat. Your coffee cup will never be empty. The police and CHP eat here frequently, which says something. We come often and will return again. We highly recommend it for breakfast. Note: it is only open for breakfast and lunch (5am-3pm). We had lunch there once - not recommended. This is a breakfast kind of place only.
