“Overpriced, Ridiculous Table Limits, Expensive Alcohol”

Graton Resort & Casino
Attraction details

The service is awful, there is one good place to eat- and it is the burger joint in the food court. If you go to a bar, plan on waiting a long time to be treated poorly by the bartenders. If you plan on playing card, be prepared to pay $50-100 a hand. Their table limits are joke. This place is more expensive than some of the best casinos in Las Vegas...and they charge for alcohol on the gaming floor.

Graton Casino is very typical of a Vegas casino, though in a much smaller way. Decorative theme is coordinated well. Very disappointed in the VERY high end restaurants designed for high end rollers only. It would be nice to go into a well crafted restaurant established for folks who truly enjoy good food, but at FAIR prices, not rip off prices. Rohnert Park is not Vegas.

I go to Graton for the poker room as I am not big on pit games or slots. I do, however play the slots once in a while and if you are an avid slot player you will love this place. They have over 3,000 slot machines and all kinds of great promotions.

As for the poker room, it has around 18 tables for poker cash games. They offer the infamous No-limit hold em, Pot-limit Omaha, and even mixed games (higher stakes only).

Poker players will love this room as it is brand new with adjustable chairs, cup holders, and promotions.

The promotion with the player's card is that for every hour you are at the poker table, you earn 1 dollar towards the gift shop or food court. I'm not sure if they accept it in the restaurants as I have not checked those out but I do know you can use points to pay for food in any food court place.

They also just introduced poker tournaments into their venue at the end of March 2014, so that will be a huge plus for tournament lovers.

There is no hotel there at this time, however I hear that they will have that there soon.

I find this to be one of if not the best poker room in Northern California!

If you believe in fair employee treatment, do not go here. They treat people like garbage, well in my dept. and from what I've witnessed, some depts can be ok, I guess?. I've seen a lady in another dept. get fired while she was in the hospital. Another employee, I believe it was valet, or house keeping, had to come to work after he went to the doctor. his doctor told him that he was showing symptoms of the H1N1 virus even had a doctors diagnosis handy, still had to come to work in fear of getting fired. They truly do not give a damn if you have to miss work because your kid is in the emergency room. There's even rumors of a sexual harassment suit going on. the victim notified HR of the harassment, even had the texts her boss was sending her, she ended up getting fired, the pervert still works there. I've heard of how corporate employers treat employees and this has to be the worst yet. if this is how they do it in vegas, this is not vegas. They have a no-fault attendance policy. do you know what that means? well, basically.....there is NO valid reason why you can be late. doesn't matter if a big rig over turned and backed up traffic for hours, you will get written up for it. doesn't matter if you have a relative in the hospital, dying on life support, you will get fired if they want to be complete dick heads about it, because they can. Don't bother complaining to HR about anything because they have no obligation to help you under their guidelines. like i said, they do not care because they have the money and power to do so. so if you're thinking about working here, you've been warned. if you still want to work there? prepare to be written up for anything, ANYTHING!!!!

Large casino with lots of slot machines and non smoking areas. We had lunch in the food court at the restaurant with hamburgers. Good hamburger and tri tip sandwiches for a reasonable price. For your first visit, stop by the Rewards counter, and they give you a card with $5 - $500 in free slot play. You don't know how much until you use it.
