This hotel is a favorite of ours in the Sonoma Wine Country. The rooms are big and very clean while priced at a nice value. The staff are consistently helpful, personable, and professional. The lobby is elegant, large, and very comfortable.

We use the hotel for an annual convention. They handle large groups well. We have opted for a no frills type of room rate at an affordable price for the group (we all pay our own way). Service, cleanliness, etc. is very good. Watch out for the single elevator between floors--it is a big bottleneck and you need to allow extra time for it. Breakfast buffet is good, but very pricey.

Our hotel does have a second elevator on the other side of the building and stairwells in every corner, but the lobby elevator does receive the most traffic.

The hotel is older but still nice. the room was pretty noisy from above. I reserved for the late check out AARP discount. Got there early about 12 and checked at hotel to make sure they had our check out, etc. She said (kind of rude) there were no more late check outs available. I explained that would be a problem since I had business and my wife would be waiting at the hotel until I got back. She huffed and said, "well she can wait until 12:30 and after that she can sit in the lobby." Why is there a late check out special? But, the bar tender/waitress was awesome and if you are hungry try the MAC & CHEESE at the restaurant.

We have a very large group stay at the hotel for a convention. The hotel was very accomadating and the staff was great. Blocked rooms and suites. Assisted with our needs both checkin and check out. changing of ballroom for different needs was quick and on time.

Everything about the DoubleTree was better than what we had anticipated until it was time to check out. Housekeeping started knocking on our door at 8:00 am, they actually woke us up. I would recommend this hotel, I would just suggest that you put your do not disturb sign out until your ready to leave.
