“Great local mexican”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Ok, so this isn't going to be for those people who are looking for truly authentic mexican food. However, it is pretty close and the quality/flavor are outstanding. It's a local place (one other location) and the secret is getting out as you'll find it pretty packed during lunch or dinner. It's served quickly (think Chipotle style) but with a lot more choices than your usual quick serve place. Try the carne asada with anything or go for my favorite which is the cracked pepper chicken chimi's with a spicy ranch sauce. Oh, don't forget free chips y salsa. That's a must for any respectable mexican place.

“Not the worst but close to it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

Lots of problems at this restaurant. The employees behind the counter either don't speak English or don't listen very well. When we pointed out the mistakes on our order they were very rude and still put tartar sauce on a fish taco that was ordered without it.

The carnitas, chile verde, rice and beans all were bland and tasteless. The fish in the taco was almost more batter than fish. Most of their sauces and salsas are thin and watery and don't have good flavor.

About the only thing good was the beer which was cold. We will not return

“Excellent Mexican that our whole family loves!”

The grilled chicken is delicious and the roasted tomato salsa is divine! Big enough portions to share as far as the burritos go!

“Yummy fish taco's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Came for lunch & despite being completely packed at 1:00pm service was still fast. The fish taco's were on special & the fish was grilled to order, which did take a few minutes, but was worth the wait. The chips & salsa bar is a nice addition to the meals, and there is a large selection of salsa's to choose from. If the weather is nice you can sit outside to enjoy your meal. I have dined here numerous times and have always enjoyed the food & friendly service.

“A Happy Accident”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

We were planning on eating at PK Sushi, only forgot that they close in the afternoon, so we headed to the other side of the strip mall to Don Quixote. Very clean (important to me) and friendly service. I ordered the grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas and quite honestly they were some of the best I've had. My son ordered Carne Asada Burito with all the fixings and he said this is his new favorite place to get a burrito. Super nice staff and the tortilla/salsa bar was a great addition to our meal.
