The lights at the Mission Inn is a must see if you have never seen them. The Mission Inn is a GEM. Only complaint is the parking service. On a recent visit, dropped car off at Mission Inn just before parking rates increased in early afternoon. They did not stamp "time-in" until after vehicle was parked (15 minute delay), clocking us in after the higher rate. It was only a few dollars, but not they point. The supervisor made a partial adjustment when car was picked up. Not completely satisfied, so e-mail sent to manager in charge of parking. No response after a couple of weeks. Mission Inn is Nordstroms of historical landmarks in Riverside, but MI parking is like the 99 cent store. It is a shame that they would risk a blemish on the MI for the sake of a few dollars in parking. They should tighten the process in which vehicles are clock-in in to ensure that proper time is recorded.
