everyone in town knows John's Pizza has gone down hill. Its dark inside which is a good thing because it doesn't feel clean. Since I live here, I hate to say it, but John's probably won't be around too much longer.

My family has been eating at John's for 40 years. In fact, the Corny's Special is named after my uncle. The pizza is better than anywhere else. The place may look a little worn, but the food is still great.

They will make any kind of pizza that you ask for - even peanut butter, black olives and pepperoni! Sounds weird I know but give it a try.

If you are looking for a good pizza place, keep driving. If you want something you can't get anywhere else - like peanut butter pizza - well, then this is your place!

Johns is the oldest pizza establishment in town. I think it opened in 1971. It was THE place to go for families. They have a giant fun room with games, a ball enclosure for little ones, and was a great place to go for dinner, as you can buy tokens, send the kids to the fun room, and know that they'll be entertained for hours. Was a big birthday party place as well for youngsters.

Unfortunately,, John's can no longer rest on their past glory days. The carpeting is old and dirty looking, The pizza? My 88 year old mother likes it. Me? Not so much. It's pretty tasteless and bland, basically a sit down Little Caesars. One thing they have which is amazing is homemade ice creams, so I highly recommend it for their brandy coffee ice cream. You can get through the pizza, just to get to the ice cream - snickers, reeses, black cherry, and more. Come to think of it, order a two for one at Little Caesars, and just stop over at Johns for their ice cream!

only because its as old as ridgecrest and places go thru change i am hopeful that JOHNS PIZZA gets cleaned up and makes a come back.....it really needs to be cleaned and given a make over...the reciepts for the food are the same but some how the quality is lacking....the staff are helpful but seem stuck when it comes to a explanation of JOHNS future...
things that keep me going back are the long time friendly staff, bread sticks and dip...home made ice cream..
